Christmas Sonata

I just finished reading the Christmas Sonata. This little boy and his mother decided to go to their relatives for the christmas season because their father and husband was in the war. When they got to the Lake with their relatives, he had an older cousin that was very sick. The little boy did not believe in Santa but when Christmas eve came, he saw Santa and started to believe again

A ghost story

I just finished reading the book called A ghost story. Zoe was sent to live with her grandparents when she was very little. Little did she know the house had a big secret about it. She was very little when she met another little girl named Zoe Louise but for some reason only she could she Zoe Louise because Zoe Louise was a ghost who died in a fire hundreds of years ago. And for Zoe Louise to leave and never see Zoe again, Zoe had to try to figure out how she died go back in time by going through the back stairway and save Zoe Louise from that day.

Blue Heron

I just finished the book Blue Heron.. Its about a little girl that goes to visit her father over the summer. She thinks everything is fine until she finds out that something is terribly wrong with her father. She can not figure out what it is so she decides to confront her father about it. He yells and screams telling her that she doesnt matter and to get out off the car right away. She gets out and hours later her step mom get a phone call saying that something is very wrong with her father and they should get to the hospital right away.

Blue Heron

I am reading the book called Blue Heron. Maggie is a 12 year old girl who has parents that are divorced. She lives in Seattle with her mother but has decided to go to visit her father, stepmother, and step sister for the summer. She is very excited thinking that everything is going to be fun and go as planned.

Its not the end of the world

I am currently reading a book called Its not the end of the world. Karen is in the 6th grade and she has two siblinings. A brother named Jeff and a little sister named Amy. Their two parents have been married for 17 years and now they have decided to file for divorce. Karen doesnt want this to happen so she tries to do anything in her power to get them back together but she can not think of anything good enough. She just doesnt understand that her parents do not love eachother anymore and they can not live in the same house. Her father moves out but they get to see him every wednesday and sunday. Their mother has gone back to school and is barely ever at home which makes Karen think that her mom is sneaking around dating some other man.

Romeo and Juliet

So far this book is really good. Ed and Pete have been best friends sense they could talk. They do everything together. If Ed isnt home he is at Petes house and if Pete isnt home hes at Eds house. They are both in the 8th grade and have never really been in love until now. Pete is head over heals for a girl named Anabell but what Pete doesn't know is Anabell is in love with him to. They are both to scared to talk to each other. In their english class they are reading Romeo and Juliet and sense Ed knows that Pete is in love but won't talk to Anabell, Ed decides to put on the play Romeo and Juliet to get Ed and Anabell together. But things never go as good as they are suppose to. Pete has to talk Ed into being Romeo and its no easier to talk Anabell into playing Juliet.

Just Call Me Stupid

The book I just finished reading was called Just Call me Stupid. The book was a pretty good book but it was kinda sad. This boy named Patrick in the 5th grade still didnt know how to read. He never learned how to read because when he would try to go things his father would always call him stupid and tell him that he was a bad kid. That gave Patrick very low confidence and there for he had very hard time learning. The only thing Patrick did like to do was draw and his teachers would get very upset at him for it because he didn't focus on his other school work. He met a girl named Celina and became very good friends with her until she turned one of Patricks stories in to the teacher and Patrick ended up winning a writing contest and had to read the story in front of everyone at the award ceremony. He was so scared because he didn't know how to read it so he stayed up all night and memorized the story by listening to himself on the tape recorder. By the next morning he stood up in front of the whole student body and completly choked. He was not only lying to himself but to everyone else so he told everyone that he wasnt very good at reading but he could explain the story to them all and they all stood up and applaused.

Just call me stupid

Just call me stupid is a book about a boy that is in the 5th grade and still doesnt know how to read. He doesnt read because his father was always mean to him and always called him bad names that brought him down. His teacher isnt very nice to him either and always yells at him to read but instead he just draws. His mom though is very nice and says that it takes time to learn to read and that he will get it someday it just takes patients.

Through a breif darkness

I just finished reading a book called Through a Breif Darnkess by Richard Peck. It was a good book although it was very confusing. This girl who lived in New York City with her father was taken in and out of many boarding schools. At least twice a year her father would take her out of her school and move her to another one just so she wouldnt get to comfortable where she was and so they could keep her safe. When she turned 16 her father took her out of her school in New York and made her go to London and stay with her realitives although she always wanted to go to London she was very nervous about her relatives and she knew something was going on that noone would tell her. In the end she finds out that the people she is staying with were not her realitives but people out to get her and her father.
